Our Care Approach
Integrated, evidence-based, and deeply personal. We treat the condition and the whole person living with it.
"Every patient will be treated with expertise, honesty, respect, and compassion — without pressure, dismissal, or false promises."
— The BioSight Patient Promise, Dr. Shoaib Ugradar
Evidence-Based
We have played an integral role in developing international guidelines on the treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease and the clinical trials that have led to the introduction of TEPEZZA and Lumvoa.
Coordinated
We collaborate with your endocrinologist, primary care physician, and other providers to deliver seamlessly connected care.
Patient-Led
Your goals and priorities guide the plan. We present options clearly and support you in making informed decisions.
Adverse Event Management
We understand that treatments for Thyroid Eye Disease can be associated with some adverse events. We have a long history of managing these events and creating plans to mitigate them. We provide concierge care tailored to patients with Thyroid Eye Disease.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Treatment That Honors the Whole Person
At BioSight Innovations, we believe that effective TED care requires more than clinical expertise — it requires a genuine commitment to understanding each patient's goals, values, and quality of life.

We integrate the latest evidence-based treatments with compassionate, personalized care. We take time to listen, explain, and plan together. And we are committed to transparency — about what we know, what we don't, and what your options are.

You will never be rushed, pressured, or left without answers.
What to Expect
YOUR JOURNEY WITH US
Comprehensive Initial Evaluation
Your first visit includes a thorough clinical examination, review of imaging, assessment of disease activity and severity, and — most importantly — a conversation about how TED is affecting your life. We listen first.
1
Personalized Treatment Planning
We present your options clearly — medical, surgical, and research-based — explaining the evidence, expected outcomes, and honest tradeoffs. You decide what is right for you, with our full support.
2
Medical Management
Patients with active or chronic TED may benefit from treatments such as teprotumumab (TEPEZZA) or veligrotug (LUMVOA) —medications that target the IGF-1R pathway involved in TED shown to reduce proptosis and double vision. Dr. Ugradar was involved in the clinical development of these treatments as a trial investigator and advisor. He has also published scientific papers on the effectiveness of these treatments. These relationships are disclosed for transparency and do not influence individual recommendations.
3
Surgical Correction
Once TED is stable; surgical options may be employed and could include orbital decompression, strabismus surgery, and eyelid procedures. Dr. Ugradar is an internationally trained oculoplastic surgeon with expertise in all phases of surgical TED management.
4
Ongoing Monitoring & Support
TED requires long-term follow-up. We provide regular assessments, respond promptly to changes, and remain a consistent, accessible partner in your care — for as long as you need us.
